Trying to track down an Acura SLX Used Engine? We stock tested used replacement engines pulled from running Acura SLX vehicles across 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, covering 3.2L V6 6VD1 (1996-1997), 3.5L V6 6VE1 (1998-1999) configurations. Rebadged Isuzu Trooper – engine and transmission are shared with the Isuzu Trooper of the same years.
Every unit in our inventory comes from a low-mileage donor vehicle averaging around 75,000 miles, then goes through inspection and testing before it’s listed for sale. An Acura SLX engine replacement is one of the most cost-effective ways to repair your Acura SLX after a failure, especially since OEM parts can carry a steep dealership markup. We stand behind every order with a warranty of up to 90 days.
Before installing any used engine, it’s worth checking whether your Acura SLX has any open safety recalls that could affect the repair – you can look this up directly through NHTSA’s official recalls lookup tool.
Working on a similar Acura? We also stock the Acura NSX engine for owners cross-shopping comparable models.
Not sure which engine fits your Acura SLX? Send us your VIN and our team will confirm the exact match before you order. Browse our full used engine selection, our complete lineup of used Acura parts, and if you’re also replacing the transmission, check our used transmission inventory to bundle both and save on shipping.
